I Will Find You, the Netflix series based on the works of Harlan Coben, has cast another major lead role.
The upcoming crime-thriller tells the story of David Burroughs, a man wrongly convicted for the murder of his son, only to discover information that his child may be alive after all. After breaking out of prison, David sets out on a quest to discover the truth.
Following the casting of Sam Worthington as David earlier this week, Variety has reported that Chi McBride has joined the cast as Max Williams, a “legendary” FBI agent who attempts to track down David following his escape from prison.

In addition to Worthington and McBride, the cast for I Will Find You includes Britt Lower, Milo Ventimiglia, Logan Browning, Erin Richards and Jonathan Tucker, with the latter playing a police officer and close friend of David.
The eight-part series, which is based on Coben’s 2023 novel, will be the first US scripted series based on the author’s work, with Robert Hull serving as a showrunner. Coben will serve as an executive producer on the project, which currently doesn’t have a release date.

“The cast we’ve assembled is nothing short of phenomenal,” said Hull of the series (via Tudum). “Any one of these incredible artists would be a dream on their own. The fact we’ve somehow drawn them all in is a testament to the power of Harlan’s storytelling.”
I Will Find You is the 12th adaptation of Coben’s work by Netflix, with the streamer signing a multi-year deal with the author back in 2018. The agreement was extended by four years in 2022, with previous works in the deal including Fool Me Once, Missing You and The Stranger.
I Will Find You will be followed by Run Away, which sees James Nesbitt play a father whose world is turned upside down after his daughter (played by Ellie de Lange) runs away from home. In addition to Nesbitt and Lange, the cast for the show includes Ruth Jones and Minnie Driver.
I Will Find You doesn't yet have a release date.
