The most-watched Netflix series of all time, and the most-popular shows streaming right now
What's everyone watching on Netflix?

With a near-constant stream of new original releases and exciting show acquisitions from around the globe, the Netflix catalogue continues to grow and grow. There's a reason we've named it one of the best streaming services.
We're sure you'll be familiar with Netflix's Top 10, which changes based on what's being watched in your country on any given day. But the streaming giant has been pushed to get a little more open with its ratings (which shouldn't be confused with terrestrial TV numbers, as the metrics are different), so new countdowns are being shared each week.
When it comes to what we're currently watching, the new season of The Lincoln Lawyer is popular among top 10s, with season 4 reintroducing Manuel Garcia-Rulfo's character Mickey Haller for the show's fourth outing. Twisty crime thriller His & Hers is also still dominating, six weeks after its initial release, while the first half of Bridgerton's fourth season stands strong ahead of the release of part 2.
Current trends aside, Netflix's most-watched series of all time can be hard to crack. It's decided by a combination of 'hours viewed' and 'views' overall. Wednesday's viral debut season has been sitting pretty at number one in the English-language category for quite some time. Squid Game, just as much of a cultural phenomenon, also dominates the non-English language chart and actually surpasses the Jenna Ortega-fronted Addams Family reboot when it comes to these numbers.
(While you're here, if you want to find out what features in Netflix's most-watched movies, we've got you covered there, too.)
For TV, this data is accurate as of 18 February, 2026.
TV Editor, Digital Spy Laura has been watching television for over 30 years and professionally writing about entertainment for almost 10 of those. Previously at LOOK and now heading up the TV desk at the UK's biggest TV and movies site Digital Spy, Laura has helped steer conversations around some of the most popular shows on the box. Laura has appeared on Channel 5 News and radio to talk viewing habits and TV recommendations. As well as putting her nerd-level Buffy knowledge to good use during an IRL meet with Sarah Michelle Gellar, Laura also once had afternoon tea with One Direction, has sat around the fire pit of the Love Island villa, spoken to Sir David Attenborough about the world's oceans and even interviewed Rylan from inside the Big Brother house (housemate status, forever pending).
