Maura, who also served as a social presenter on the first season of Love Island Games, has recently been romantically linked to Strictly Come Dancing and former The Only Way is Essex star Pete Wicks, though she said in an interview last month that she was “single.”

“Can I just set something straight – I don't have a mystery man. I don't. I'm single,” she said. “I think people are just very invested in my love life. But as you've all seen from the jungle, there's a lot more layers to me than the man I'm dating.”

This came after the star had addressed the rumours during her time in the jungle, in which she said: “People can date, not be in a relationship and take things slow without the media getting involved in your shit.

“What's the point in getting them involved too soon, when you just don't know where it's going to go, you know? With the press, they only give a shit about my love life. I get it in a sense because I know I was on a dating show, but it was five years ago.”

Love Island airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
