Love Island viewers were blindsided after Priya and Aidan appeared to make their relationship a priority as they shared a steamy kiss on the terrace - but another love triangle could be looming.
This Wednesday's (8 July) episode of the ITV2 dating series saw the couples touch base after a dramatic recoupling, which saw Aidan ditch Casa Amor bombshell Martha to form an item with Priya.
The pair had already been partnered up prior to Aidan leaving for Casa Amor, but agreed that their connection was strictly platonic. However, after giving his bond with Martha a chance, Aidan revealed he didn't feel the relationship could evolve due to a lack of chemistry.
Things seemed very different with Priya. During this Wednesday's instalment the pair ventured to the terrace, where they shared a private conversation, and eventually locked lips. Viewers didn't know what to make of the new couple.

While many agreed the pair were well-suited, other viewers were more sceptical. Another handful of fans shared their surprise. But things took a turn when Martha walked in, interrupting their moment to ask for a private chat with Aidan. A move some fans have branded "disrespectful".

Since her connection with Aidan ended, Martha has explored her romantic potential with fellow bombshell Jordon, who Priya had brought back to the main Villa. During the latest recoupling, she was then surprised when Jordon decided to recouple with her due to his friendly conversations with Mara.
Despite her growing bond with Jordon, however, Martha and Aidan shared another private conversation on the terrace moments later, where he admitted he was still keen to get to know her - but what will Priya think?

Priya has had a difficult journey since her arrival as a Love Island bombshell. After giving Lorenzo a chance, she eventually landed in Samraj's orbit. But his own unresolved feelings for Mica quickly got in the way of their relationship evolving.
During Casa Amor, Priya had agreed to recouple with Aidan, but remained open to new connections. This led her to strike up a connection with Carlos and Jordon. Although Carlos was clearly willing to go the extra mile for her, Priya struggled to connect with him and decided to couple up with Jordon.
Priya eventually found out that Jordon wasn't initially attracted to her during Movie Night and decided to take a step back, leading her right back into Aidan's arms. Now with Aidan's desire to explore a connection with Martha, Priya could be involved in another imminent love triangle.
