Love Island executive producer Mike Spencer has revealed which previous contestant turned down All Stars.
Season 2 of the ITV2 spin-off, which kicks off tonight (January 13), is bringing back plenty of familiar faces, including Curtis Pritchard, Gabby Allen, Luca Bish, Ronnie Vint, Kaz Crossley, and Marcel Somerville.
However, one person that Spencer wanted to get back but couldn't was Ovie Soko, and he told The Sun that the team reached out to him but were turned down.

"The thing is, we will reach out to everybody. We are open to everyone," he said.
"I'd love Ovie to do the show. But Ovie, I don't believe, wants to do the show."

Following his stint on Love Island, Ovie returned to his basketball career, and has dipped his toes into commentating and podcasting.
If he had decided to return, it would be a reunion with India Reynolds, who is confirmed for All Stars season 2. The duo came third in their initial season, but eventually broke up once in the outside world.

One former couple who are competing in this new season are Gabby and Marcel, and with the power to choose the initial pairing having been handed to fans recently, they may very well end up back together.
Speaking about the possibility of meeting again, Gabby recently said: "We haven't seen each other in years.
"I would like to have a conversation with him, and put it behind us. I don’t think I would ever get back with him, it was a betrayal of trust. There are no hard feelings. We had a great experience together. I think we could be mates."
Love Island airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
