Love Island rolled out the red carpet tonight as the long-awaited Movie Night finally hit our screens. But when the lights came down and the tapes began to roll, it wasn't just the Islanders who had some negative reviews.
In Sunday's (5 July) episode, the Islanders braced themselves for a dramatic evening as they watched highlights of their time in the Villa. With tailored clips such as 'Mamma Mica' and 'Samraj Like It Hot', every star's actions were put under the spotlight.

However, viewers at home soon became irritated by what they deemed to be a "villain edit" for one Islander in particular. They took to social media to point out the unfair treatment of Jasmine, claiming that she was receiving more airtime than the others.
"Preparing to defend Jasmine for the next 40 minutes because I just know the producers are going to villainise her," pre-empted one viewer on X, with another agreeing as they wrote: "I'm already knowing this movie night is gonna set Jasmine up again."

A third viewer of the ITV series echoed these sentiments, writing: "Producers really have it out for Jas, I actually hate this for her. Barely started movie night and she's already holding back tears ughhhhh."
One clip showed Jasmine during the Heart Race challenge with former Islander Tommy spitting alcohol into her mouth, while others highlighted Jasmine's growing connection with Lorenzo and Casa Amor bombshell Jordon.
Fans were annoyed that the footage didn't include enough context, and suggested that they had been edited to cause contention following the breakdown of Jasmine and Kavan's romance.
"Why did they bring back the spit one? The producers are sooooo messy," wrote one viewer, while another argued: "Production need to leave Jasmine alone they always target her."

"Jasmine being the first one oh the producers are definitely forcing a villain edit," penned a third, with a fourth questioning: "They won't show Jasmine crying in casa and keep targeting her why so many clips on Jasmine?"
Movie Night will continue in Monday's (6 July) instalment, as tensions in the Villa reach an all-time high. But will anyone come out unscathed? Or will somebody's reputation be on the floor?
