Love Island viewers have pleaded for two Islanders to get together after Simba made a grand romantic gesture. This Tuesday's (7 July) episode saw the hunk pull all the stops to get back into Angelista's good books.

The pair have been coupled up since Simba's introduction to the Villa as a bombshell, but their romance has been nothing short of explosive. While they managed to move past his flirting with Mica, Simba's return from Casa Amor appeared to mark the definitive end of their relationship.

While in Casa Amor, Simba struck up a romantic connection with Mara, and the pair recoupled before entering the main Villa. Simba, however, has kept his distance from the bombshell since then.

In Tuesday's instalment of the ITV series, Simba made it clear that he only had eyes for Angelista as he publicly confessed his feelings for her at the Fire Pit. Viewers, meanwhile, couldn't help but think of Mara, who was left vulnerable ahead of another recoupling.

Mara has become a fan-favourite since her arrival, particularly after holding Simba accountable for his behaviour in Casa Amor. With Simba clearly committed to making his relationship with Angelista work once again, fans have begged for Mara to give Jordon a chance to avoid a dumping.

One viewer went a step further by suggesting that Aidan could recouple with Jordon's original partner, Priya, who took a step back from the relationship after Movie Night. Aidan and Priya were both an item before Casa Amor reopened its doors, and have shared hints of chemistry ever since.

Moreover, Aidan has been doubting his own connection with Casa Amor bombshell Martha, and admitted to Priya that he felt no chemistry. Another viewer, meanwhile suggested that Mara and Jordon could have the potential to win the season outright.

It seems that viewers may get their wish, as Mara invited Jordon to the terrace later on. While there, she revealed that she considered him to be a potential love interest - and he seemed more than receptive.

As romances continue to blossom, another bond abruptly ran its course. This Tuesday, Kavan confessed that he wanted to give his relationship with Jasmine another chance, ending his connection with Casa Amor's Charleen.

Viewers had expressed concern for Jasmine after Monday's (6 July) episode saw her profusely cry over her love triangle with Kavan, and some even demanded that she quit the Villa for the benefit of her mental health.

Love Island continues this Wednesday (8 July) from 9pm on ITV2.
