Blood, the "compelling" mystery drama starring Adrian Dunbar and Carolina Main, has found a new streaming home in the UK. Since premiering in 2018, fans have praised the series for its "unusual storyline" and "poignant ending", and now it's once again available to stream.
The mystery drama follows Cathleen 'Cat' Hogan (Main) as she returns to her hometown in Ireland following the mysterious death of her mother. Despite being gravely ill, her cause of death was actually a head wound following a fall.
Upon her return home, Cat begins to be haunted by flashbacks from her childhood, and gradually suspects that her father, Jim (Dunbar), may have been involved in his wife's death. With doubt creeping in, will the full story become clear?
After originally being released on Channel 5, a follow-up aired in 2020 as Dunbar reprised his role, and now the entire series – all 12 instalments – have became available on Netflix.
In addition to Dunbar and Main, the cast for the series includes Gráinne Keenan, Fiona Bell, Diarmuid Noyes, Ingrid Craigie and Denis Conway, with Sophie Petzal serving as both the creator and screenwriter.
