Netflix's latest mystery drama Untamed has received a season 2 order mere weeks after premiering.
Originally billed as a limited series, the thriller has been unexpectedly renewed for a second chapter after the first season debuted to the top of the streamer's charts in several territories.
Starring Eric Bana and Sam Neill, the show follows a National Park Service Investigative Services Branch (ISB) special agent who investigates a suspicious death within the Yosemite National Park.
Bana plays protagonist Kyle Turner, who works the case with Neill's Paul Souter, chief park ranger and a mentor figure, and NPS ranger Naya Vasquez (Lily Santiago).
Now, the series will return for one more season with a new mystery set to be investigated, Bana saying he's "thrilled" to be able to continue Kyle's story (via Variety).
