You'll want to clear April 25 in your diary after watching the brutal, action-packed first trailer for Tom Hardy's Netflix thriller Havoc.
Written and directed by The Raid and Gangs of London's Gareth Evans, Havoc sees Hardy play bruised detective Walker as he fights his way through the criminal underworld that threatens to engulf his city.
In the aftermath of a drug deal gone wrong, Walker finds himself chased by a crime syndicate, a crooked politician and a number of his fellow cops as he tries to rescue the politician's estranged son.

Anybody who's seen The Raid or Gangs of London won't be surprised by the brutal action shown in the Havoc trailer, and this is just a taster it seems.
"Havoc is my love letter to the heroic bloodshed genre; the films that came out of Hong Kong in the '80s and '90s," Evans said last month at a Netflix preview event.
"But it's also a hard boiled, noir-ish cop thriller set over two nights before Christmas. But it's not really a Christmas movie, as you would expect from me! It's about Tom Hardy, who plays Walker, who's a sort of corrupt cop and dabbles in some shit he shouldn't do."
Bring it on.
Havoc is released on Netflix on April 25.
