With the release of the trailer for Dune: Part Three yesterday, now is as good a time as any to delve into some lesser-known Florence Pugh projects. Released in 2022, period drama The Wonder sees her paired up with none other than Toby Jones.

Set shortly after the Great Irish Potato Famine of 1845 to 1852, the film follows an English nurse who travels to a rural Irish village which is still grappling with the after-effects of the famine.

Her mission is to investigate a girl who supposedly hasn't eaten a single thing for four months yet seems perfectly healthy, and discovers a dark truth.
