Millie Bobby Brown's sleuth Enola Holmes is back for mystery number three as the Netflix threequel has jumped up the streamer's charts. Enola Holmes 3 follows Sherlock's younger sister as she readies for her Malta wedding to Lord Tewkesbury (Louis Partridge).
Six years after the first Enola Holmes hit our streaming screens, the fourth-wall breaking detective played by the Stranger Things star is about to take a big step. The protagonist based on the books by Nancy Springer is now engaged to longtime love interest Tewkesbury, who has recently joined the House of Lords.
Her doubts about how to balance her hard-earned career and the prospect of becoming a Lady are set aside when Dr Watson (Himesh Patel) informs her that her brother Sherlock (Henry Cavill) has been kidnapped.

As Enola is roped into yet another family disappearance, her relationships with Tewkesbury and her mother Eudoria (Helena Bonham Carter) are put to the test.
The film, directed by Boiling Point and Adolescence's Philip Barantini from a script by Jack Thorne, has climbed up Netflix's charts, earning the top spot within a day of its premiere on 1 July.
What to Read Next
The film has earned mostly positive reviews, reaching a score of 69% on Rotten Tomatoes, as well as a 6.1 on IMDb, with user reviews waxing lyrical about the "fantastic" and "excellent" third film.
Digital Spy called Enola Holmes 3 the saga's "darkest mystery yet" in our three-star review, arguing that trading London for sunny Malta proves positive for future instalments.
"It doesn't exactly rewrite the Enola Holmes rulebook, but it's a positive sign for the potential future of the series that they haven't been afraid to shake things up, tonally and thematically," the review reads.
And as for where Enola will go from here, Brown, who also produces the series, said she'd be on board with more movies.
"I'll be there if Netflix is," the star told Digital Spy in an exclusive chat ahead of the third film's release.
"Oh my goodness, yeah, Enola as a mum, that would be crazy," Brown responded to a potential continuation of the saga at different stages of Enola's life, with Partridge adding: "I'll do one in like 50 years or something."
Enola Holmes 3 is streaming on Netflix. Enola Holmes and Enola Holmes 2 are available on the same platform.
