Married at First Sight Australia fans have reacted to the latest instalment of Partner Swap week, with many sharing a theory about co-stars Veronica Cloherty and Dave Hand.
This week, the experts asked the couples to take part in Partner Swap, encouraging brides and grooms to pair with a different wife or husband than the one they're married to.
Jamie Marinos, who is married to Dave, was matched with Awhina Rutene's husband Adrian Araouzou, while Dave spent time with Eliot Donovan's wife Veronica. However, it was the behaviour of the latter pairing that piqued fan interest.
Tonight's episode opened with Veronica giggling alongside Dave after waking up next to one another in their shared bed.
Asked by the producers what it was like spending time with Dave, Veronica replied: "Yeah, look, we get on. So it's good. I am having a good time I'm not going to deny that, it's a stark contrast to my relationship with Eliot."

In another scene, Veronica was seen getting the giggles again with Dave while the two had a drink out together.
In a separate piece to camera, Veronica added: "The last few days, it's been really, really great and yeah I'm having a great time. Dave is an attractive person. Dave and I have a very similar sense of humour, he's ticking a lot of boxes.
"Like, I'm obviously not matched with him but in terms of thinking about what I really want and if I had to model someone on another person, it probably would be Dave," she concluded.

A number of MAFS Australia viewers took to social media to suggest that Veronica might be harbouring a crush on Dave, following her comments.
"Veronica laughing like that when dave ain’t even said anything funny," wrote one user on X, while another tweeted: "The giggling and flirting is off the scale with Veronica and Dave. #mafsau."
"Not Veronica wanting this partner swap with Dave to be a permanent thing," wrote another in a tweet. One fan also picked up on the pair's on-screen chemistry claiming: "It’s giving school girl crush giggles."

Veronica has spoken out on online accusations that something happened between her and Dave, telling Yahoo! last month: "I find it so hilarious that this whole thing is circulating in this way. I've actually been abstinent for almost two years."
In a separate interview post-show, Dave also said that he was "totally committed" to Jamie during the experiment and denied any wrongdoing with Veronica.
"I’m not going to sleep with someone jumping in my bed for one or two nights, it’s not how it works, especially when I’m married to someone else," he told Chattr.
"It’s a bit ridiculous that people would think that, but yeah, it definitely goes against my morals."
