The 2026 World Cup isn't the only major sporting event going on at the moment, as Wimbledon 2026 kicked off last week. The annual tennis tournament attracts plenty of celebrities, often taking up residence in the much-sought-after Royal Box.
If you didn't know, the Royal Box is a collection of 80 seats reserved for members of the Royal family and their specially invited guests, which often includes stars of stage and screen.
The tournament is nearing the end of its second week, but the famous faces are still turning up on the grounds at SW19.
Day 11 - Thursday, 9 July
Day 11 saw another assortment of actors that you might recognise from the big and small screen, including Line of Duty's Anna Maxwell Martin, Ted Lasso's Hannah Waddingham, Amandaland's Philippa Dunne, The Hunger Games' Sam Claflin, and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again's Lily James.
From the world of TV, we spotted Emily Maitlis, CBBC and The Martin Lewis Money Show legend Angellica Bell, Gabby Logan, and former Strictly Come Dancing judge Darcey Bussell.
And, of course, Sir Cliff Richard was back yet again.

Day 10 - Wednesday, 8 July
On day 10, we saw a fair bit of royalty, with Queen Camilla in attendance, as well Peter Phillips, who was there with new wife Harriet Sperling.
There was also host of familiar faces from the screen, including The White Lotus star Jason Isaacs, Margo's Got Money Troubles' Elle Fanning and The Crown's Dominic West.
Also spotted were TV adventurer Bear Grylls, who was attending alongside wife Shara, Made in Chelsea stars Jamie Laing, Sophie Habboo and Sam Thompson, as well as comedian Michael Dapaah (best known for his Big Shaq persona). Former UK Chancellor George Osborne was also in attendance with his mother Lady Felicity.
Elle's pastel coloured shirt dress is from Dior's Riviera collection and will set you back a cool £4300. We love this very similar style from FatFace (£69) that's still available in a wide variety of sizes.
While her fellow Spice Girls were celebrating 30 years of 'Wannabe', Geri Halliwell-Horner was soaking up the sun at Wimbledon, while Mike and Zara Tindall were also seen attending.
Day nine - Tuesday, 7 July
The Crown star Claire Foy was in attendance on day nine, as were couples Sam and Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Amelia and Olly Murs. Also spotted was Britain's Got Talent presenter Amanda Holden.
We also spotted Himesh Patel, who will be seen on the big screen next week when Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey is released. There was more acting talent in the shape of Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch, while legendary singer and big tennis fan Sir Cliff Richard was attending again.
Claudia Winkleman has swapped her dramatic Traitors wardrobe to follow the classic tennis whites wardrobe for her Wimbledon appearance, but it's her sunglasses that have caught our eye. The presenter is usually a fan of Ray-Ban sunglasses, but we've found a cheaper alternative from River Island that look very similar.
Katherine Jenkins finished her white outfit with a Gucci handbag. If you're after a similar version from the high street, we've found this Seraphyna Top Handle Bag from Aldo which is reduced to £55.30.
Day eight - Monday, 6 July
After Catherine, Princess of Wales attended the tournament last week, her sister Pippa Middleton and mum Carole headed down to watch the tennis on day eight. Although not actual nobility, former Time Lord Ncuti Gatwa was also in attendance today.
Other actors spotted at Wimbledon on Monday include Homeland's David Harewood, Happy Valley's James Norton, Gossip Girl's Ed Westwick and, from across the pond, Modern Family's Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
Other big-name TV stars who turned out were The Traitors' Claudia Winkleman, singer and Dancing with the Stars runner-up Katherine Jenkins, host Clara Amfo, The Great British Bake Off's Prue Leith, and comedian, actor and Children in Need co-founder Lenny Henry. From the world of sport, we also spotted Judy Murray, Roger Federer, and Formula One's Andrea Kimi Antonelli.
Day seven - Sunday, 5 July
Looking back to day seven, we've spotted some big names, with favourites such as Rob Rinder and Lorraine Kelly being pictured together! We also saw This Morning presenter Ben Shephard, as he attended with his wife Annie.
Sherwood and Gone actor David Morrissey was also in attendance, while musicians Stormzy and Little Simz were in the Royal Box alongside A Thousand Blows star Malachi Kirby. On the sports side of things, there was cricketer James Anderson.
Former Strictly Come Dancing and Britain's Got Talent judge Bruno Toniloi was typically extravagant as he headed to SW19, while Michaela Coel was there again after her showing the previous day.
Day six - Saturday, 4 July
On day six, we saw several celebs enjoying Wimbledon together: Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield and Top Gun: Maverick actor Monica Barbaro; I May Destroy You's Michaela Coel and her partner, tech entrepreneur Spencer Hewett; and Adolescence's Stephen Graham with Jack Ryan: Ghost Wars' Sienna Miller.
Graham's son, Alfie, was also in attendance. And if you look closely, you can see Bridgerton's Simone Ashley just behind Coel and Hewett. The Crown star Emma Corrin can also be seen just behind Garfield - talk about great company!
Several other actors were spotted at the championships, including Marvel Cinematic Universe favourite Tom Hiddleston, The Plague's Joel Edgerton, F1's Damson Idris, Savage House's Bel Powley, and One Day's Ambika Mod.
Unsurprisingly, the sports event attracted several sports stars. Wimbledon day six saw two British Olympians — track cyclist (and former racing driver) Chris Hoy and rower Steve Redgrave — in attendance. Former pro footballer and manager Gareth Southgate was there as well.
Day five - Friday, 3 July
Sir Cliff Richard is a known lover of the sport, and continued to watch the action unfold in London. On day five, we also spotted The Handmaid's Tale star Joseph Fiennes and Gavin & Stacey legend Rob Brydon.
Additionally, we saw former EastEnders star and Bohemian Rhapsody actor Ben Hardy, record-breaking eight-time Olympic gold medallist sprinter Usain Bolt, gold medal-winning heptathlete Denise Lewis, retired sprinter Jeanette Kwakye, footballer Beth Mead, and former UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
Day four - Thursday, 2 July
Day four saw the attendance of actual Royalty with Catherine, Princess of Wales, though she decided not to sit in the Royal Box.
In the box itself was Cliff Richard, while also expected to attend were singer Ellie Goulding, presenter Michaela Strachan, former UK Deputy Prime Minister Sir Nick Clegg, footballer Lucy Bronze, former tennis champion Ann Jones, and Olympic gold medallist Dame Denise Lewis.
We also had British TV icons such as comedian Mo Gilligan and The Traitors winner Stephen Libby, while pop star Joe Jonas and comedian Chris Rock made their way across the Atlantic. Stanley Tucci, an honorary Brit, was in attendance, too.
Day three - Wednesday, 1 July
As for day three, the famous faces included Saltburn actor Richard E Grant and The Crown's Charles Dance, both of whom also appeared in Game of Thrones (although they didn't share any scenes together).
Sports stars included golfers Rory McIlroy, Luke Donald, Tommy Fleetwood, Justin Rose and Edoardo and Francesco Molinari.
Multiple Wimbledon champion Martina Navratilova also returned to the court, but this time just to watch.
Meanwhile, Loose Women host Ruth Langsford and The Apprentice: Unfinished Business presenter Angela Scanlon were seen on the centre court.
Days one and two - Monday, 29 June and Tuesday, 30 June
Actors who attended Wimbledon on day one included Baby Reindeer's Richard Gadd, Rocketman's Taron Egerton, The Night Manager actor Noah Jupe, and national treasure and Calendar Girls star Celia Imrie.
She wasn't the only national treasure to take in the action on opening day, as Mary Berry and David Beckham were there too. Younger attendees included rapper Bad Bunny and breakout I Swear actor Robert Aramayo.
Day two had even more TV and films stars watching the action unfold, with BBC Radio 1 stars Mollie King and Greg James, presenter Dermot O'Leary, and comedian Katherine Ryan. Also there was House of Games host and The Thursday Murder Club author Richard Osman with his wife, Doctor Who actor Ingrid Oliver.
Wimbledon is being broadcast in the UK on the BBC, as well as through TNT Sports and Discovery+. ESPN and The Tennis Channel show it in the US.
