Hollyoaks has confirmed a surprise proposal next week, as Jeremy Blake takes advice from his new therapist.
Jez is currently in a relationship with John Paul, though he is hiding some deadly secrets, as he is responsible for the deaths of both Dilly and Abe, as well as a string of other murders from his past.
Ste has become suspicious of Jez amid the disappearance of his beloved cat Fernando, but John Paul was quick to assure him that his boyfriend is completely innocent.

However, next week there may be trouble in paradise, as John Paul begins to worry that he and Jez aren’t communicating enough, and he fears that his partner isn’t serious about their relationship.

Martha also grows concerned about her son’s behaviour when she finds him looking through his horrifying book of murders. But she is reassured when Jez says he has started seeing a therapist.
Next week, viewers will be introduced to therapist Tommy, who Leela has been meeting up with. In a session, she explains that she is worried that Joel still has feelings for his ex Cleo after spotting them together.

He manages to console her, but in a shocking twist, Tommy misreads the signals and leans in to try and kiss Leela.
It is later revealed that Jez is also seeing Tommy as a client, and he opens up to him about his relationship with his late twin Patrick and his struggles with getting close to people after his brother stole the love of his life Anna.
Tommy is distracted, still thinking about what happened with Leela earlier. However, he still manages to give Jez some advice on how to make things work with John Paul.

Jez takes Tommy’s advice to heart and decides to make a big gesture to show his boyfriend how much he cares about him.
Outside the hospital, and with Myra watching on, Jez gets down on one knee and proposes to his partner. But with John Paul having doubts about their relationship, will he say yes?
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
