Hollyoaks spoilers follow for the latest episode to air on E4 and stream online.

Hollyoaks has delved into Jeremy Blake's murderous past in the latest episode.

Jeremy was introduced last year as the twin brother of evil Patrick and turned out to be Sienna's actual father. Although a nice, if sometimes manipulative, gardener, he killed Patrick's daughter Dilly Harcourt this week when she learned Sienna killed Ethan Williams.

In tonight's (January 15) instalment, Jeremy and Sienna buried Dilly and burned her clothes when Jeremy's mother Martha turned up.

She handed them Dilly's purse, which had been dropped out of the wicker basket yesterday, and nonchalantly revealed she'd heard Jeremy's fatal confrontation with Dilly.

An understandably disturbed Sienna screamed at the duo: "You two are acting like this is completely normal and it's not!" before running away.

Jeremy went to blow off steam by hooking up with boyfriend John Paul McQueen, while the newly-returned Dodger Savage revealed to Donny Clark that he's working as an undercover police officer to try and take down Rex Gallagher. Viewers also saw he was once again having a romance with Maxine Minniver.

Back the flat, Martha convinced Jeremy to talk about his past to Sienna to smooth things over.

"Mother thinks that you and I should have a little talk about me and my life," he said, before proceeding to pull out a photo of a previous victim and talking about how he killed them after they crashed into Martha's car and blamed it on her.

"Lots of people say they would do anything for somebody they love, but how many people actually do?" he said with a sinister calmness.

After Sienna excused herself to go to bed, Martha said she wanted Jeremy to be honest with her and asked if "the darkness" within him was "rising again". He said there was no need to worry, but she looked unconvinced.

As the episode ended, he flicked through his book of murder victims and gave an evil glare to the camera.

Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
