Alan Carr's "addictively play-along quiz show" will be returning to the BBC for its fourth season. Picture Slam sees The Celebrity Traitors winner put contestants' knowledge to the test with a series of images which they must correctly identify for the chance to win the £10,000 jackpot.

This series promises something different, as Carr will be joined by a few celebrity guests across two specials, including Sue Cleaver, Charlie Brooks, Richie Anderson, Jason Mohammad, Lee Latchford-Evans, Kelle Bryan, Will Best, Fleur East, Gareth Malone, Steph McGovern, Ellie Taylor and Jamie-Lee O'Donnell.

There's also a celebrity Christmas special scheduled for later on this year, with names to be revealed soon.

The comedian said in a statement (via the BBC): "I am excited to return for another series of Picture Slam and to spice things up with brand new Celebrity episodes. Being part of this show is always a blast whether you’re in the studio or playing along at home – let’s get picture slamming!"

Picture Slam isn't the only show of Carr's that is returning, as Channel 4's Secret Genius is also coming back for a second series. The show, which features the Chatty Man star and Countdown's Susie Dent, shows people partaking in Mensa challenges to prove their IQ.

He added: "This series feels really special – bigger, more playful, and giving everyone at home the chance to join in and maybe discover a bit of hidden genius themselves. I can’t wait to meet our next batch of undercover geniuses… and try to keep up!"

Meanwhile, Dent said she and Carr are "delighted" for the chance to "discover people who have as yet no idea just how special they are", adding: "The first series of Secret Genius proved genuinely life-changing for some of our participants, and it was a privilege to see their new-found confidence.

"I’m already excited at the prospect of witnessing some more incredible minds!"

Series three of Picture Slam is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
