The latest episode of Love Island ended with another major shake-up, as two brand-new bombshells were unveiled. Just days after the arrivals of George, Yasmin, Priya and Kavan, the ITV dating series wasted no time in introducing even more competition for the Islanders.

Friday's (5 June) episode saw tensions run high following a dramatic recoupling, with Ellie and Samraj saved from a elimination. The biggest surprise, however, arrived in the closing moments when viewers were introduced to newcomers Namibia and Victoria.

The pair are set to enter the Villa during Sunday's (7 June) instalment, and their arrival could not come at a more chaotic time. Hailing from Leeds, Namibia works as a customer service officer, and is determined to find love.

"I haven't got time for drama. But if someone comes to me, I'll back myself," she said. "I won't start it, but I'll finish it. At the end of the day, I've got to do what I want to do, and we're all there for our own reasons."

Victoria, meanwhile, is from Manchester, and isn't afraid of a little competition, saying: "I have a really strong belief in myself, and I think what's meant for me will always be mine. So I don't really believe in competition."

"Finding love is definitely the goal. But if there's a little bit of drama along the way, ideally I'd stay on the sidelines. But if I need to get involved, I will," added the star, who works as a personal assistant.

The developments come after George broke his silence on his exit, with the semi-professional footballer sharing via Instagram that he departed the series after returning home to attend to a family matter.

Meanwhile, in the Villa, Ellie was floored after Robyn revealed the extent of Aidan's connection with Yasmin, and subsequently took matters into her own hands by confronting her rival.

While the conversation remained relatively calm, emotions ran high for Yasmin as she broke down in tears. As for Robyn, she chose to partner up with Sam once again, despite the pair recognising that their bond was platonic.

Love Island continues on Sunday 7 June at 9pm on ITV2, and also streams on ITVX.
