The premiere date of the second season of Netflix's Million Dollar Secret has been confirmed. Hosted by Peter Serafinowicz, the reality game show sees 11 contestants hunt down one player who has $1 million, hoping to claim the prize for themselves.

There are daily tasks, as well as regular eliminations decided by the group, and if they catch a millionaire, someone else becomes one.

The hit show, which has often been compared to The Traitors, first aired in 2025 and was met with overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics, soon being renewed for a second season.

Speaking in a statement, executive producer Glenn Hugill said the season is "more twisted than ever".

"The secret tasks are pulled off with breathtaking audacity, and the millionaire has never been more dangerous. The whole season is completely addictive," he continued.

"And then there’s Peter Serafinowicz, who somehow manages to make players feel completely safe and absolutely doomed with the same raised eyebrow. I genuinely don’t think there’s a better host alive."

Season one holds an 83% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with Common Sense Media describing it as "a stylish and addictive watch".

The Guardian said: "So, Million Dollar Secret is The Traitors. But guess what? The Traitors is great, and so is this, too. If you liked The Traitors, I’m afraid that this will be your new obsession. Turns out originality is overrated."

CBR added: "There are legitimate jaw-dropping shocks in these eight episodes, even for the most seasoned reality TV fans."

Million Dollar Secret season two begins on 15 April on Netflix. Season one is streaming now.
