He may be walking on thin ice in the series, but The Celebrity Traitors star Jonathan Ross couldn't escape punishment from producers. As the show enters its penultimate week, the presenter revealed that he was collared following a rule-break.
After six episodes full of twists, drama and treachery, Jonathan – somehow – finds himself alive in the game despite leaving a healthy trail of clues that he is indeed a Traitor, with the Faithful yet to banish him despite their suspicions.
Though he has evaded punishment at the roundtable, the presenter revealed on the Reel Talk podcast – which he co-hosts alongside daughter Honey – that he was told off by producers for sharing details about scenes that didn't make the final edit.
"I’m not allowed to talk about the stuff that’s edited out, which I can understand why," he shared. "When I started talking about it last week, they sent us all a kind of list saying, 'Just to remind you, these are the things in your contracts you're not allowed to talk about.'
"So, I’ll skirt around it as much as possible and not break any rules. But there’s a fairly comprehensive list, and most of it I can see is to protect the integrity of the game as a viewing experience for people, so it makes perfect sense."

Jonathan has been a Traitor for the duration of the entire season alongside Cat Burns and Alan Carr, with the Faithfuls' failure to banish a single Traitor meaning they are statistically the worst crop in the series' history.
Despite this, the recently-banished Joe Wilkinson shared that he suspected Cat for a time, telling Metro: "The only reason I chose Cat in the end was because someone said, 'Look at the person you think of least.'

"You don’t really see it in the show, but I was hanging out with Cat quite a lot... Suddenly, I went, 'Cat! Why do I trust Cat? It’s mainly because I’ve just been hanging out with her.'"
Though he suspected her, the comedian said that he wouldn't have put her name up for banishment, explaining: "I really liked her — she was just so cool and lovely to hang out with. So no, I wouldn’t have gone for her next."
The Celebrity Traitors airs on BBC One.
