The 2026 Television and Radio Industries Club (TRIC) Awards took place today, with The Celebrity Traitors, Emmerdale, Adolescence and Clarkson's Farm being among the series to be honoured.

The annual ceremony awards achievements in both television and radio, with membership ranging from producers to broadcasters. Since 2019, the awards have been determined by a public vote from a list of pre-determined nominees.

This year's ceremony was hosted by Dan Walker, who currently presents 5 News and a weekday show on Classic FM. Walker paid tribute to the late radio DJ James Whale, who died in August at the age of 74.

Speaking to Digital Spy after the win, Garraway said: "Loads of people have been asking me if they should do it. I'm trying to persuade Susanna [Reid] to do it. Alison Hammond as well.
