Celebrity Traitors star Richard E Grant has been given a fair warning of what's to come from former contestant Celia Imrie. Last month, the Saltburn star was one of the many celebrities revealed to be taking part in season two of Celebrity Traitors.
Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, season one of the show has already gone down in history for some iconic moments, which ultimately culminated in Alan Carr winning for the Traitors in an incredible twist of fate.
Now, season two features a larger group of celebrities attempting to take each other out for £100,000 to go to a charity of their choosing. And who better to get advice from than a previous contestant?

While appearing on The One Show today (4 June), Grant said that Imrie was the first person he contacted upon learning he would be Celebrity Traitors. Of course, everyone remembers Celia's time on the show, with her hilarious anecdotes and nervous farting endearing her to the public.
Grant said: "We've known each other for 40 years. I said, 'Celia, what is the thing you can't be prepared for?' She said, 'The cruelty of people who you instinctively want to trust, in a room like this and suddenly every single person suspects you'. And I think that's a very accurate thing to have said. I've already said too much!"

The Death of a Unicorn star had previously revealed that his daughter thought he wouldn't fare very well at the show, adding that they thought he wasn't "going to last more than about four nanoseconds".
He continued: "She and all her friends to their credit said, 'You are incapable of hiding what you feel about anything in life'."

When Alex Jones asked if he thought they were right, Grant replied: "I have no idea...I've been hypnotised, and I value my knees and I don't want BBC security to come and break them!"
Celia also had to deal with her children's response to her time on the show, telling BBC Radio Sussex in November that her son said: "Oh Mum, you'll be so embarrassing... and of course I was, rather."
While an official release date hasn't been revealed, season two of Celebrity Traitors is expected to return to BBC One and iPlayer in autumn 2026.
