Joey Essex has responded to a comment about him made to ex Grace Jackson on Love Island: All Stars.
TOWIE star Joey appeared on ITV dating show Love Island in 2024 where he coupled up with Grace, whom he knew prior to the show.
Following their split, Grace has appeared on spin-off show All Stars where former contestants have a second chance at finding love.
Chaos erupted in the Villa after Grace's partner Luca Bish, kissed bombshell Samie Elishi during a game of truth or dare, despite Grace asking him not to.

Last night's episode (February 5) saw things go from bad to worse when the result of the recoupling was revealed, with Luca and Samie being paired together leaving Grace in tears.

"I just don't understand why the public would put Luca with her? With Samie? Are they not seeing how close we are? Are they not seeing how well we're getting on? Not seeing how perfect it's been since I walked into the villa?" she raged.
While being comforted by her fellow contestants, one noted: "This doesn't change anything. You two know your connection. Everyone else in the villa knows your connection.
They then brought up Grace's ex, adding: "Sorry to say the J word, but he's not Joey. Do you know what I mean? He wouldn't entertain something that he didn't want to.

"I know it's hard because it's a bit like exactly what happened last time, but you've got to think he's a different person."
It refers to Joey sharing a kiss with contestant Jessy Potts behind Grace's back during their time on the show, eventually coupling up with Jessy leaving Grace heartbroken.
Joey responded to the clip posted on the Love Island Instagram page, simply posting an emoji with a shocked face.
Grace opened up on a reunion between her and Joey after he split with Jessy, telling Olivia Hawkins in the villa: "Yeah we cleared the air he reached out to me we didn't speak for like 4 months and then he texts me and was just like can we speak type of thing."
Olivia asked if the conversation turned flirty, to which Grace replied: "A little bit! I really liked him and i think i'll always have a soft spot for him, i’ll always care about him, he’s not someone I’d wanna be with definitely not."
