Digital Spy understands that Ron has left the villa, with a source saying that he "feels he no longer wants to wait to see if he'll find a connection with a new bombshell".
Ron was most recently paired with Danielle Sellers, after she chose to be coupled up with Curtis Pritchard, and then he chose to get back with Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.
After the coupling, Ron and Danielle both said that they would like to see how things develop, but it now looks like he has changed his mind.
Love Island airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
