A hugely acclaimed BBC drama is coming to another streamer after its departure from iPlayer.

2020's Normal People, which follows the highs and crushing lows of of a couple played by Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar-Jones, was recently added to Disney+ — and it'll soon be available to watch on Netflix too.

It will be added to the streaming service on Sunday, 3 August.

The 12-part adaptation of Sally Rooney's award-winning romance novel was a big hit with critics, sitting at an excellent 91% positive score on Rotten Tomatoes from 91 critic reviews.

"Normal People is terrific, absolutely gorgeous, up there with the best TV dramas of recent years," wrote the Mail on Sunday, while The Guardian called it "a naturalistic masterclass in emotional depth and cerebral elegance".
