Toxic Town, the next big UK original from Netflix, has just released a first-look trailer as well as new stills from the upcoming drama.
The streaming platform describes how the four-part series is based on the story of "one of the UK's biggest environmental scandals", with Toxic Town set to get to the heart of the people impacted by the Corby scandal.
The synopsis continues: "Focusing on the mothers, who took on a David and Goliath battle for justice, the series traces through the years of their fight..."

Set against the song 'I Will Survive', made famous by Gloria Gaynor, the emotional trailer reveals Jodie Whittaker and Aimee Lou Wood's characters as the central mums, meeting on the labour ward, who end up fighting for their children together.
"This is a battle for the kids," Whittaker's voice says. "Because they don't have a choice. So we don't have a choice."

The drama has been written by the award-winning Jack Thorne, whose other TV credentials include This Is England, National Treasure, the Sarah Lancashire-fronted Kiri and Channel 4's The Virtues (which starred Stephen Graham).
Toxic Town boasts a stacked cast, including Jodie Whittaker (Doctor Who, Broadchurch), Aimee Lou Wood (Sex Education), Claudia Jessie (Bridgerton), Rory Kinnear (Bank of Dave), Brendan Coyle (Downton Abbey) and Joe Dempsie (Game of Thrones, Showtrial).
Toxic Town will arrive on Netflix on February 27.
