Adolescence, a new crime drama from Netflix, has confirmed a release date – arriving on the streaming platform on March 13, 2025.
The four-part series stars Stephen Graham, as well as Ashley Walters (Top Boy) and The Crown's breakout star Erin Doherty.
The synopsis for Adolescence reveals that the drama will tell the story of how a family’s world is turned upside down when 13-year-old Jamie Miller (Owen Cooper) is arrested for the murder of a teenage girl who goes to his school.

Graham will play the character of Jamie's father Eddie, while Walters will take on the role of Detective Inspector Luke Bascombe. As for Doherty, she will portray the clinical psychologist that's been assigned to Jamie's case.
Netflix has also previously revealed (via Tudum): "The gripping story unfolds in real time as the main characters — from the central family to the detectives investigating the crime — search for answers in the wake of a shocking tragedy."

We've already had a first look at the drama, with Netflix revealing official stills. The series was filmed in the UK, and pictures from set have also previously been shared.
Adolescence is co-created and written by Graham and Jack Thorne (Help), with Philip Barantini on board as director, bringing a similar one-shot style that was used in Boiling Point.
The show's cast also includes Mark Stanley (Happy Valley), Faye Marsay (Ten Pound Poms) and Christine Tremarco (The Responder).
Stephen Graham also has another big show on the way, with Disney's period drama A Thousand Blows landing in February. He will also once again team with co-star Erin Doherty on this project, with the series exploring the world of underground boxing in Victorian London's East End.
Adolescence will arrive on Netflix on March 13, 2025.
