ITV's 2022 drama The Walk-In, based on a true story, is now available to watch on Netflix (December 1).
The five-part series stars Stephen Graham (Line of Duty, Boiling Point) as Matthew Collins, a reformed fascist organisation member who became an informant, working to bring down Britain's far-right, and becoming part of the anti-racism organisation Hope Not Hate.
The British drama was written by Jeff Pope, an Oscar-nominated screenwriter whose previous TV credits include ITV's Little Boy Blue, which also boasted Graham in a lead role, Hatton Garden (starring Timothy Spall, which trended on Netflix when it was added earlier this year) and A Confession with Martin Freeman and Siobhan Finneran (also now on Netflix).
More recently, Pope executive-produced the BBC's Jimmy Savile drama The Reckoning which saw Steve Coogan taking on the central role.

According to The Guardian, The Walk-In was given a different name and fictionalised content as a safety precaution for the production team. There was also no publicity in the run-up to the drama.
"The security was extremely tight, there were even discussions about whether to run a full list of credits naming everyone involved," Matthew Collins said in an interview with the publication in 2022, a month before the show aired.
The series originally aired on ITV in October of 2022, and it was followed by a documentary called Nazi Hunters: The Real Walk-In which was broadcast after the finale episode of the drama. The stand-alone documentary is still available to stream on ITVX.
