Riviera, which originally aired on Sky back in 2017, has just been added to Netflix.

With a cast that includes Julia Stiles (10 Things I Hate About You), Iwan Rheon (Game of Thrones), Lena Olin (Hunters), Roxane Duran (Interview with the Vampire) and Juliet Stevenson (Professor T), Riviera spanned three seasons.

The series centred on Georgina Clios (Stiles), an American art expert whose life gets turned upside down when her super wealthy husband suddenly dies in a yacht accident. She's pulled into all sorts of different – and tricky – situations as she tries to uncover the truth about what actually happened to him.

A British-Irish drama, the show was created by Irish film director and screenwriter Neil Jordan. Riviera was a hit for Sky, becoming its most successful original series at the time of its first season (via Variety).

This isn't the first Sky show to land itself a new home on Netflix. Most recently, Gangs of London started trending again when its first two seasons reached new audiences on the streaming platform – just in time for Gangs of London season three to arrive.

As for Riviera, Julia Stiles revealed back in 2022 that there were no plans for a fourth season of the former Sky drama.

"I loved making that show," she said during an interview with Radio Times.

The actor said that "there were talks about doing another season" but that the pandemic then happened – but Stiles also added that she "would totally be open to maybe a movie version of it or something".

There's not been any official updates about any potential return for Riviera since then.
