Netflix has released the full-length trailer for its next Harlan Coben series, Missing You.

The new footage shows a number of the cast in action, including Rosalind Eleazar (Slow Horses) in the lead role as Kat Donovan – a detective who specialises in missing persons, and whose own fiancé Josh vanished without a trace.

Missing You also sees Richard Armitage return, having previously starred in a number of other TV adaptations of Harlan Coben's work. This time though he'll be playing a police officer, which is a role he's "never played before".

Ashley Walters (Top Boy), James Nesbitt (Stay Close, Bloodlands), Sir Lenny Henry (Rings of Power), Steve Pemberton (Inside No.9, Happy Valley), Jessica Plummer (EastEnders), Mary Malone (Doctor Who) and Lisa Faulkner (Unforgotten) are also among the names appearing in the series.

Missing You is following in the footsteps of the Michelle Keegan-led Fool Me Once, which became a runaway hit for the streaming platform when it released in January 2024 and now sits in the top 10 of Netflix's most-watched series ever.

Richard Armitage previously said: "Harlan Coben is the master of the sort of cliffhanger, and his books are page-turners that you can't put down, and they adapt so brilliantly for television drama."

"I think Netflix has just realised that his back catalogue, his canon of work, is just deliciously adaptable, and they could just keep going like this for probably the next 10 years, and I don't know if I'll be in all of them," he added. "I never say never."

With a shorter runtime of five episodes, Coben previously pointed out that fans will be able to "watch it in one day."

The release date has been set for January 1, 2025 – so set your calendars.
