Tormented by the sound of Heath's voice echoing through the Kennedy house, Holly summons Yaz for comfort. Soothing Holly with reassuring words and alcohol, Yaz urges Holly to talk it out, extracting from her a quasi-confession about wanting Heath dead, while she surreptitiously records it on her phone.
The next day, the police reject Yaz's recording as inadmissible, refusing to reopen the case. They also warn Yaz to stop pursuing Holly.
Instead, Yaz announces a last-minute business trip, leaving Holly and Nicolette bemused by her behaviour. Arriving at the Outback destination where Heath met his end, Yaz scours the area for clues, determined to find evidence to incriminate Holly.
