Hollyoaks has confirmed that three iconic characters will return to the show ahead of Tony and Diane Hutchinson’s wedding. But will any of them be able to help Tony with the problems he is facing?
Tony’s prison ordeal came to an end last week when Dodger uncovered that it was serial killer Jez who murdered Bobby, and he was innocent.
It looks like Tony’s release will encourage Diane to move forward with their fresh start together, as in this week’s scenes Tony arrives home to find that she has planned a proposal.
While Diane’s surprise doesn’t go entirely to plan, the pair get engaged and happily look forward to their future as a united couple once again.

However, there is the small problem of Mercedes being pregnant with Tony’s baby – and the fact that he doesn’t know he is also little Morgan’s biological father, not Darren.
In next week’s scenes, Tony and Diane are busy planning their last-minute wedding. But Tony’s stress levels increase even further when he sees Marie in the village and another major crisis emerges.
Meanwhile, Diane is keen to make sure her dream wedding goes off without a hitch, so she takes matters into her own hands and warns Mercedes to stay away from Tony.

This isn’t the only stark warning Mercedes gets next week, as Myra and Goldie take her to the side and have a word with her in light of recent dramatic events.
As the day of Tony’s stag do arrives, Carol and Finn (Natalie Casey and James Redmond) turn up and surprise their old friend. And what’s more, they’ve brought Jambo’s car Beryl with them!
The celebrations kick off, and the gang are joined by Tony’s half-brother Dom (played by Nick Pickard’s real-life brother John).

Tony’s spirits are high, as he receives a special t-shirt documenting all his romantic encounters over the last three decades.
But he later sits down with Dom and tells his brother all about his escalating relationship problems – as the drama continues to spiral out of control.
With Tony and Diane’s wedding day fast approaching, will they get down the aisle unscathed or will things go very wrong?
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
