Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks is lining up even more drama for Mercedes McQueen following yesterday's bombshell twist.
The episode came to a close with Mercedes taking a pregnancy test, although it wasn't revealed whether she is carrying a baby or not.
In scenes set to air next week, Mercedes goes to Misbah Maalik for help. Does that mean that the test came back positive?
Whatever the outcome, Mercedes has other things on her mind next week, as she learns that Diane Hutchinson is holding a fundraiser at The Dog to help Tony Hutchinson with his legal fees.

What to Read Next
Mercedes is furious, as she believes that Tony is responsible for her son Bobby Costello's death. As viewers know from previous episodes, it was actually Jez Blake who really killed Bobby.
Full of grief and rage, Mercedes heads to the pub and says her piece.
She tells everyone that Tony didn't come forward about Bobby's death, and even tried to cover it up by destroying his car. Turning her attention to Diane, Mercedes calls the whole event shameful, and claims that Tony shouldn't receive any charity.

Another aspect that made things worse for Mercedes was that Tony was sleeping with her and providing her comfort over Bobby's death, all while hiding his involvement. So if Mercedes is pregnant, Tony could be the father.
Meanwhile, Tony is struggling to cope in prison. When Diane went to visit him in yesterday's episode, he confided in her that the idea of getting back with her is the one thing keeping him going.
She told him he's hurt her too much lately, and there's no chance of getting back together, but he'll still be a big part of their kids' lives.
But will that still be the case if Mercedes is carrying his baby?
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
Selected omnibus episodes are available via Prime Video.
