Hollyoaks has revealed that Tony Hutchinson will be at the centre of the drama ahead of the show's 30th anniversary next month.
Tony, a character who has been at the heart of the village for all three decades, will play a key role in the soap's milestone celebrations.
While Tony is currently in prison for the murder of Mercedes McQueen's son Bobby, viewers know that it's serial killer Jez Blake who is really responsible for his death.
Hollyoaks' new trailer, previewing this month's action, shows that Tony's struggles will continue, as he finds himself unpopular with the other inmates – including Joel Dexter, who is making a surprise return to the show.

Meanwhile, Ste Hay will soon be held hostage by Jez alongside Sienna Blake. While Rex Gallagher spirals and Lucas Hay gets closer to the truth about where his dad is, Cleo McQueen is devastated that her girlfriend is a serial killer, with Jez having pinned all his crimes on his daughter.
Cleo seeks support from Dodger Savage as they come to terms with the truth about Sienna – and the pair end up sharing a shocking kiss.

But Jez might soon be found out, as he confesses to a drunken John Paul that he is the real serial killer. John Paul reels from this admission, but will he remember what's been said in the morning?
Elsewhere, there's love in the air for Leela Lomax and Prince McQueen, whose relationship is growing into more than just a fling.

Peri Lomax is reconnecting with her first love Tom Cunningham, and sparks fly between them as his prison release date approaches. But is this rekindled romance putting Tom in danger with his old enemy Clare Devine?
Speaking of Clare, in upcoming scenes, she seduces Donny Clark, with the detective straying from Misbah Maalik. Donny is then blackmailed by Froggy, who threatens to blow up his life – but will his secrets and lies catch up with him?
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
