Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks star Anya Lawrence has confirmed her involvement in the dramatic return of Hollyoaks Later. Vicky Grant will be among the characters taking centre stage when the after-dark spin-off show returns to our screens later this month.
Soap bosses have resurrected Later for a one-off episode to tie in with Hollyoaks' 30th anniversary celebrations, which will take place throughout October.
Speaking exclusively to us on the red carpet at the Inside Soap Awards 2025, Anya expressed her excitement over the high-stakes scenes to come in the special late-night edition.
"I feel like I'm not so much involved in the 30th, but I'm very involved in the Laters so we're still under the same bracket there," she explained.

"We're going to have a massive 30th anniversary episode and then we've got Laters, which is fun. It's risqué."
She continued: "It's all on location. We had the coolest set ever. This apartment was crazy. The sets were amazing. It was so, so cool. It was so weird because it felt like a different show.
"Later is like a different ball game. They got so creative and everyone was really in their element, which I loved – seeing creative people do creative things. That's what we love. It was a great experience. I'm so glad that I was allowed to do it.
"It is very violent, but it's the story first. It's very gritty."

The return of Hollyoaks Later was first announced in July. Warren Fox and Theresa McQueen will both be returning in the episode, while new character Gemma – played by former Coronation Street star Tisha Merry – will feature as well.
Not long after the initial announcement, we revealed that Ste Hay, Frankie Osborne and Donny Clark have been written into the special episode.
More recently, Danny Mac announced that his character Dodger Savage will also play a central role.

"It's incredibly moving, and it takes some of the characters, including mine, to a place that no one is ever going to expect," Danny told Inside Soap.
"Later makes you feel like there was no other way to tell this story. It's not just a party, a celebration of 30 years or a good excuse to make something that looks pretty. It's horrific, it's dark, and every single beat is fully justified. The best word I can use is Later feels inevitable!"
