Upcoming scenes in Hollyoaks will see another hurdle for Yazz and Tom Cunningham after she is offered a job away from the village.
The last year has been tough for the married couple, with Yazz suffering an ectopic pregnancy in June, followed by being diagnosed with early menopause a few months later. This left her with no desire to be intimate with her partner – however she did share a kiss with Ethan Williams while on a night out.
More recently, Tom spent the night with his ex, Peri Lomax. Yazz discovered this deceit and told Tom the marriage was over for good, despite his protestations that it had been a "meaningless mistake".

However, the pair have been trying to patch things up, and upcoming scenes will see Tom planning a vow renewal ceremony.

Meanwhile, Yazz is feeling anxious over waiting to hear from a job she has applied for. Not wanting to keep Tom in the dark any longer, she tells him about it – the snag is that the job is in Canada.
Later, while Yazz is distracted helping Zain, Tom spots an email come through on Yazz's computer offering his wife the job.

Tom busies himself with planning the vow ceremony, which Darren Osborne later encourages Yazz to attend. But then she gets a call about the job...
