Hollyoaks spoilers follow from Wednesday’s episode on Channel 4 streaming, which doesn't air on E4 until Thursday.
Hollyoaks' Yazz Cunningham has received some heartbreaking news in tonight's (October 11) streaming-first episode.
Yazz experienced an ectopic pregnancy earlier this year, and has been struggling with her health since. She's also been struggling mentally, working herself to exhaustion and lashing out at friends and family.
Yazz went to get some hormone tests at the hospital and was warned that it may be possible she is going through the early menopause. In tonight's episode, Yazz got ready to receive her results and was adamant that there was "no way" she's menopausal.

Mum Misbah Maalik admitted to Zain Rizwaan that she misses her job at the hospital, and, upon going there with Yazz, kicked off about how long it was taking to get the results. Right in front of Sharon Bailey.

Impatiently, Misbah went behind the desk and pulled up Yazz's file, only to discover that her daughter didn't have any heart problems. She instead found that it was highly likely that she was indeed going through premature menopause.
Misbah immediately started to panic as it wasn't her area of expertise, and lashed out because there was no-one there to see them.
"Mum, I don't need a doctor. I need you," a tearful Yazz said.

Outside, Yazz worried about who was going to help her get through this.
"I feel like it's one thing after another, like I have no control over my body. It keeps failing on me," she said.
Yazz pointed out that there were so many symptoms and health risks, while Misbah promised that they would get through it together. She pointed out there are many treatments Yazz could undergo, but Tom ruined the mood by referencing her low sex drive.
Spurred on by Zain, Misbah then went to the hospital to try and get a job there. However, things went from bad to worse when a disgruntled Misbah pointed out "Sharon is the only doctor working in this place"... right in front of a peeved Sharon.
Misbah's words instantly came back to bite her when Sharon revealed that she, as the only doctor working there, was also interviewing potential candidates — and Sharon walked off with a smirk.

Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
