Emmerdale spoilers follow from Monday's episode (6 July), which is available to watch now on ITVX and YouTube but hasn't aired on ITV1 yet.

In tonight's episode of Emmerdale, Cain is so concerned by Kyle's behaviour that he resorts to something he thought he'd never do – asking Graham for help!

Meanwhile, Mack struggles to act normally around Ross, there are tensions at the depot when Caleb and Kerry's scheme is exposed, and Kev finds himself at the centre of more drama in the village.

1. Kyle finally provides some answers

Kyle continues to face a backlash from his family regarding the recent fires, as well as his alarming actions with the gun at Home Farm. Cain is quick to remind Kyle about the previous time he impulsively grabbed a gun, which led to Al's death!

When alone with Moira, who's perhaps more understanding than her husband, Kyle explains why he lost his temper with the Tates, why he started the fires and why he chose Graham as his main confidant.

2. Another fire drama rocks the Dingles

After further tensions with Cain, the troubled Kyle acts out by starting a fire in the shed outside Wishing Well Cottage. Cain is horrified by his teenage son's latest act of destruction, especially when he realises that Monty the dog is trapped inside.

Cain rushes to Monty's rescue – has Kyle finally gone too far this time?

3. Cain turns to an unlikely ally

Feeling at a loss over Kyle's dangerous behaviour, Cain swallows his pride and asks Graham for help – finally accepting that he can't deal with this alone.

The resourceful Graham quickly comes up with a plan to get father and son bonding again, but will it work? Or will the family turmoil get even worse when Paddy sadly reports that Monty has cancer?

4. Ross continues to test Mack's patience

Ross teams up with Noah to cheer Mack up, still totally unaware that his friend wants nothing to do with him after discovering the truth about his betrayal with Charity.

Mack struggles to conceal his rage as Ross attempts to carry on their friendship as usual. But when Kev urges Mack not to do anything stupid, could these wise words convince him to keep quiet for now?

5. Nicola and Kev go head-to-head

Nicola remains livid over Kev's food van being parked so close to the café.

The rivals find themselves in a petty stand-off over Paddy's custom – it's clear that every sale counts!

6. Robert and Kev meet up

Robert shows that he still has some loyalty towards Kev when he defends his estranged husband in the village.

Later, the former couple meet to discuss the details of their divorce. Both are ready for a clean break, and with other stuff on Kev's mind, it looks like he'll stick to his promise of a hassle-free parting.

7. Bear's ordeal is revisited

At the depot, Bear is disgusted when he finds out that Caleb and Kerry have teamed up to sell counterfeit goods. Disturbingly, one of the labels on a pair of dodgy trainers contains a desperate message written in pen: "Help me."

Drawing on his own experiences on Celia and Ray's farm, Bear points out the human cost of criminal enterprises like this. He warns Caleb to tell the police the truth – or he'll do it for him!
