In scenes set to air next Friday (November 8) on Coronation Street, Geoff Metcalfe will once again upset Yasmeen Nazir via another venomous outburst.
This continues the issue-based storyline of coercive control, which features Geoff exploiting Yasmeen and isolating her from any other figures of support, while also depriving her of any independence.

In the scenes, Geoff purposefully allows Yasmeen to see him surfing a dating website, explaining that it's research for his radio show.
Further along, he continues to sap her confidence by convincing her that she has a terrible memory and doesn't listen to a single word he says.
Geoff later lies to Yasmeen, making out that he'd planned to take her away to Las Vegas on a romantic break, but he's not going to book it because of her constant distrust.
