The Devil Wears Prada 2 will be strutting into cinemas soon after a long 20-year wait for fans – and now we know why. The sequel to the hit 2006 comedy-drama film, directed by David Frankel, reunites Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep in their iconic roles as Andy Sachs and Miranda Priestly, respectively.
The film sees Miranda struggling to keep Runway relevant in a new media landscape, with Andy returning to the fashion magazine to help navigate the crisis.
The pair will have help from Miranda's long-time right-hand, Nigel (Stanley Tucci), and her former assistant, Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt), who is now a high-powered luxury brand executive and has the resources to keep Runway afloat.

"Aline realised that the world of fashion and journalism had changed dramatically since we shot the first movie in 2005, and wouldn’t it be fascinating to see how these characters we still love manoeuvre through this new, challenging landscape.
