Millie Bobby Brown's next Netflix movie will mark a career first for the Stranger Things and Enola Holmes actor.

Brown is a mainstay at the streaming service, having also starred in the fantasy action film Damsel and the science-fiction adventure The Electric State.

Now she's been announced for Just Picture It, her first ever romantic comedy.

The Hollywood Reporter states that Brown will star alongside The Fabelmans' Gabriel LaBelle, with You director Lee Toland Krieger helming the film.

Revenge writer Jesse Lasky has penned the script, while Brown's husband Jake Bongiovi serves as one of the producers.

The plot will focus on two college students whose phones seem to malfunction and show them photos of themselves as a married couple with kids, seemingly from 10 years in the future. But in the present day, they haven't actually met each other yet.

The publication states that Brown has "shepherded" the project since the early days.

After wrapping up production on the third Enola Holmes film last month, Brown is also set to set to star in and produce an adaptation of her own novel Nineteen Steps for, you guessed it, Netflix.

Set in 1940s Britain, the story is based on tales Brown's grandmother told to her, that she eventually realised were based upon her own life experiences.

The fifth and final season of Stranger Things also recently confirmed the release dates for the three parts it will be released in.

Just Picture It does not currently have a release date on Netflix. The first two Enola Holmes and Stranger Things season 1-4 can be streamed right now.
