Silent Witness star Liz Carr's forgotten action sci-fi film Infinite has found itself a new streaming home in the UK.

The 2021 film skipped out on a cinema release at the time and went straight to streaming on Paramount+. Now, it is available for Netflix subscribers in the UK and Ireland to watch as well.

Led by Mark Wahlberg, the film follows a man experiencing what he believes is schizophrenia, but turns out to be memories of past incarnations.

There are others like him, divided into Believers, who think their knowledge should be put to use making the world a better place, and Nihilists, who believe their reincarnation is a curse and the only way to stop it is total extinction.

Carr plays Garrick, leader of the Believers, while the cast also includes Bridget Jones' Chiwetel Ejiofor, Kingsman's Sophie Cookson, Taskmaster's Jason Mantzoukas, Mr Bates vs The Post Office's Toby Jones, and Teen Wolf's Dylan O'Brien.

Infinite received negative reviews, with a Rotten Tomatoes score of 17% based on 82 reviews.

"An initially intriguing sci-fi thriller that quickly veers into incoherence, Infinite is as inane as it is inconsequential," reads the critics consensus on the site.

Carr played fan-favourite Clarissa Mullery on Silent Witness for seven years before departing the BBC forensic drama in 2020.

Following her exit, she explained why she left, stating: "The job was a joy. Clarissa was very loved, and I don't take the experience or the support that I got in that role for granted at all. But I wanted to see who else I could play."

"Silent Witness took nine months a year, so it did cut out an awful lot of projects that I would have loved to do," she added. "I was starting to almost resent that, because I wanted to do other things."

Infinite is available to stream now on Netflix.
