Taskmaster star Jason Mantzoukas might've just broken a new record for the show — or at least that's what some fans think after the latest episode.
The Good Place star took an interesting approach to working out one of tonight's tasks. Similar to a task aired in 2022, the new challenge saw the contestants having to ask Alex Horne a series of questions to determine what he was wearing on his head.
The catch? Alex could only answer to yes or no questions with a number each time. While Rosie Ramsey and Stevie Martin only took minutes to figure out the code behind Alex's answers, Jason took significantly longer.
Greg Davies aired the American comedian's attempt last so that audience members in the studio and viewers at home could savour the clip.
"We're going to leave Jason to last and boy oh boy, does he know why," he said, before revealing that Jason took an hour and 40 minutes to solve the puzzle.

Fans were left in shock at Jason's total time as well as his increasingly unhinged questions for Alex (who was wearing a carrot on his head, in case you're wondering).
"That has to be the longest it's taken someone to do a task ever surely??? Jason your madness is outstanding," one viewer asked on Twitter/X.
"I almost died when they revealed the full time," another person wrote, while someone else added: "Jason being so useless at the carrot task was hilarious."

Jason finally gave the correct answer but wasn't able to crack Alex's system, which used prime numbers for yes, and composite numbers for no.
"Let me be clear, Alex, I do not feel good," he said after being told how long he'd taken and how many questions he'd asked — 233.
He may not have won the task (or the episode, for that matter), but Jason's chaotic line of questioning has definitely won some fans, as one viewer jokingly suggested to "kidnap" the comedian and "keep him in the UK".
Taskmaster airs season 21 on Thursdays at 9pm on Channel 4, and streams on the Channel 4 website/app.
