The Electric State didn't get off to the best start with critics, but you can now decide if the Netflix sci-fi blockbuster deserved better.
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, The Electric State is set in an alternate version of 1994 following a war between humanity and the sentient robots that used to serve them, who now live in exile.
All that could change though when Michelle (Millie Bobby Brown) is visited by a robot who claims to know where her presumed-dead brother is. She sets off on a quest with low-rent smuggler Keats (Chris Pratt) to find answers which could impact everybody.
If that sounds like something you want to see, The Electric State is available to watch right now on Netflix after being added to the streaming service today.

Unless the rating improves, the movie will rank as Brown's lowest-rated movie ever. However, that might not stop it becoming a Netflix hit as her previous movie, Damsel, is one of the most-watched movies ever on the streamer.
The Russo brothers also have had success before on Netflix with their 2022 spy thriller The Gray Man also among the most-watched movies ever.
