Severance season two has just come to completion with a Cold Harbor finale that's left Innies and Outies picking up with their jaws off the floor.
As fans of the Apple TV+'s most-watched series of all time are piecing clues together, the most pressing question remains that about season three. When are we going to find out what happens next?
Given the long wait before season two — released three years after the first instalment — it's only fair viewers are a tad apprehensive.
Fret not as director and executive producer Ben Stiller has been adamant we won't have to wait three more years before season three graces our screens.

"No, the plan is not to [wait three years]," Stiller said on Jason and Travis Kelce's New Heights podcast.

"Hopefully we'll be announcing what the plan is very soon."
Stiller also reflected on the delays in bringing season two to fans, looking back on production being halted due the dual strike of writers and actors in Hollywood in 2023.
"It took us a little bit to regroup, and the show, we shot for 186 days on season two. Editing takes a while, but thank goodness the audience was there when we came back," he said.

"The challenge was to get people who hadn't seen the show to watch the first season, so Apple did a really good job of getting the word out and we did as much press as we could."
It's safe to say Severance has enjoyed a greater popularity upon its return, with more viewers tuning in and new fans catching up on the first chapter, as well as listening to the show's podcast.
On Instagram, some are calling episode ten a "masterpiece" and dishing theories about Lumon's sinister plans to seemingly break consciousnesses apart.

Directed by Stiller and written by creator and showrunner Dan Erickson, the episode 'Cold Harbor' delved into the company's experiments on Gemma, played by Dichen Lachman.
