Love Island fans were quick to share their support for Angelista after Tuesday's (9 June) dramatic recoupling left her single in the Villa. The latest instalment of the ITV series saw bombshells Victoria and Namibia given first choice at the Fire Pit, with the pair deciding which boys they wanted to couple up with.

While much of the episode focused on the growing love triangle between Sam, Victoria and Namibia, the recoupling ultimately had consequences elsewhere in the Villa. After getting to know several Islanders, with Namibia picking Sam as her partner after a secret kiss in The Hideaway, Victoria made the surprising decision of coupling up with Ope.

This left Angelista blindsided, with the pair had appearing to be back on the right track after Ope flirted with Victoria during their first date together. Ope had maintained that Angelista remained his priority, despite his chemistry with the bombshell.

Now, viewers at home are convinced that Angelista could be the next islander to leave Mallorca following George's sudden exit from the show, with one noting that it put her "in a very awkward position".

"ANGELISTA CANNOT GO HOME GUYS," wrote a second viewer, while a third echoed this sentiment as they wrote: "If Victoria picking Ope means Angelista goes home.. IM IRRITATED."

Elsewhere, Priya and Lorenzo notably faced the consequences of their own kiss from Monday's instalment, which left Samraj to explore his own connection with Mica after confronting Lorenzo directly.

During a private chat, Samraj admitted that he was frustrated to discover that much of the Villa appeared to know about the kiss long before he did. Lorenzo attempted to explain himself, insisting that the right moment never presented itself.

Samraj isn’t the only Islander seeking answers, as Jasmine also had to decide her next move. Seeking clarity, she sat down for an honest conversation with Lorenzo, and admitted that she no longer felt like his priority despite being coupled up with him.

Referencing his growing connection with Priya, Jasmine pointed out that the chemistry between them had become increasingly difficult to ignore. However, Lorenzo insisted that he was still keen on getting to know Jasmine.

The situation, however, took another awkward turn when Priya joined the discussion and learned that Jasmine was willing to give Lorenzo a chance despite their kiss.

Love Island airs weeknights from 9pm on ITV2.
