Rebekah Vardy has teased that a "few hair-raising moments" occurred during her family's move to Italy, which has been documented as part of ITV's upcoming reality series, The Vardys.
The new show offers an insight into the lives of Rebekah and her husband Jamie as they leave the UK to start a new life in Italy with their four children, picking up following the footballer's departure from Leicester City.
The logline reads: "The unstoppable Vardys are back! With Wagatha Christie in the rear-view mirror, Jamie's new football team lures them to Italy, but drama is never far away for this family."

Asked to share her most amusing mistake or the most significant cultural adjustment she's had to make since moving to Italy, Rebekah said: "Forgetting which side of the road I was meant to be driving on. There were definitely a few hair-raising moments!"
Opening up about the moments she is most excited for audiences to see, Rebekah said: "This is us like you have never seen us before... I think viewers will be surprised by how grounded and normal a lot of our day-to-day life actually is."

On why she wanted the show to be authentic, Rebekah said that her family "wouldn't have it any other way", adding: "We didn’t want it polished or staged. The point was to be open and authentic about what this period of change looks like for our family."

"Moving on from such a big chapter in our lives affects everyone emotionally and documenting that honestly felt important," said the star, who has also appeared in I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!.
She also noted some of the lessons they learned explaining: "When you completely step out of your comfort zone and rebuild your life somewhere new, it forces you to slow down and really assess what matters most."
The Vardys launches at 9pm on Tuesday 2 June on ITV1 and ITVX.
