Love Island: All Stars finale spoilers follow.

Love Island star Tina Stinnes has shared a heartfelt update on Scott Thomas as he skipped the All Stars finale.

The latest season drew to a close last night, with Gabby Allen and Casey O'Gorman crowned the winners. However, Scott – who walked from the show a few weeks ago – was notably absent from the final episode.

Tina, who was coupled up with Scott, has now revealed that she has spoken to him, telling former islander Amy Hart on a livestream (via The Mirror) ahead of the finale: "I have heard from Scott. Yeah, me and Scott have FaceTimed. We spoke today."

She was then asked who made the first contact, with Tina sharing: "Well, he always told me he was following me on Instagram so when I got out [of the villa] I got confirmation he wasn't when I was in there.

"So I said, 'I told you you didn't,' and he said it was a glitch. [...] Then we had a FaceTime and we've been on the phone. We had a really good chat."

Tina was then asked if a date was in question when she returns to the UK, the star admitting that while a "date" may not happen, a "catch up" was in order.

Scott's initial exit came as he questioned his feelings for Tina in the villa, saying that he felt "frustrated" that his journey hadn't panned out in the same way as the others.

He later told Tina: "I don't feel like I can give you any more and I think you fully deserve that."

Fellow islander Elma Pazar subsequently drew some controversy after appearing to encourage Scott to leave amid his confusion, though Scott later came to her defence, confirming she "had no part to play" in his decision.

Love Island airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
