BBC reality show I Kissed a Boy has shared a huge update on season two.

Following the success of the dating show's first season in May 2023 and its all-female version I Kissed a Girl in May 2024, it was confirmed last year that I Kissed a Boy was being greenlit for another instalment.

Host Dannii Minogue has now teased that the all-male version of the show will return to screens "soon".

Taking to Instagram, the star shared a promo video of herself driving to the Masseria, where she says: "Buckle up, boys. We're back."

Teasing its release in the caption, she wrote: "Love life stuck in the slow lane? Don’t worry, I’m en route to the Masseria! Buckle up for an epic Italian adventure.

While she didn't give a specific date, we can assume that the new season will follow a similar release schedule to that of previous seasons, meaning it will likely arrive on our screens around May.

Fans were quick to share their excitement in the post's comments section, with one writing: "Yaaaas!! Finally the new series."

"I am beside myself excited! Welcome back Cupid @danniiminogue," wrote another, while a third added: "Cannot wait for it to be back on! I will be watching it and it will be brilliant."

The all-male season will also mark the return of Strictly star Layton Williams as narrator, after TikToker Charley Marlowe took over for the female-focused show.

Following the new season's announcement last year, Minogue said: "I am so excited that I'll be back in Italy to play Cupid. I can't wait to meet the next cast when the Masseria doors open...

"There are so many diverse and important stories yet to tell. And be sure that I'll have the party started for a wonderful summer of love."

I Kissed a Boy airs on BBC Three and iPlayer.
