The Traitors star Alexander Dragonetti has opened up on his friendship with Claudia Winkleman.
The star appeared in the third season of the BBC reality show, finishing in fourth place as he was eventually banished during the endgame in the dramatic finale.
Much has been made about the friendships made between the cast, but Alexander shared that they had all gotten close with the host of the show, telling Hello!: “Claudia's so warm and supportive of the show and the cast.

“And she really looks out for everybody. And I mean that very sincerely. She focuses on when people need a bit of extra help or some support – she's absolutely there. It's hugely impressive. It's not just a job for her.”
Whilst Alexander explained his closeness with Claudia, the star did remark on one notable exchange from the series which saw Claudia confirm to the camera – and viewers at home – that Alexander was single, a remark that left him surprised.

“Yes, I am single! I had no idea Claudia was going to do an aside to the camera,” he shared. “She doesn't really do that, and I particularly had no idea that she was going to disclose my marital status on national TV. But Claudia is always right, so I assume that she knew what she was doing.”

Alexander, who was recently pictured with his co-stars during Freddie Fraser’s birthday celebrations, had previously thanked fans for their support during the season, which was eventually won by Jake Brown and Leanne Quigley.
“I just wanted to say thank you for all of your incredible support through this process. It's been kind of a whirlwind,” said Alexander following the airing of the finale.
“All the support has meant a huge amount to me, and made the process so much more fun and so much easier, and I'm hugely grateful for your support, so thank you.”
The Traitors series 1-3 are streaming on BBC iPlayer. Two more series and a celebrity spin-off have already been confirmed.
